Tips How to Check Into a Hotel

1. If you haven't reserved a room, keep your bags in your car until you know for sure you are getting a room.
2. If the hotel has bellboys and if you have luggage, they may take your luggage up to your room for you (in which case, be sure to tip them).
3. Always have a credit card for emergencies, as most hotels require a credit card for a security deposit even if you pay cash.
4. If your hotel room is already paid via credit card (yours or your employer) you may be able to ask the hotel to turn off the incidentals therefore eliminating the need to present a credit card or cash for deposit.
